As a mother-daughter team, we bring decades of experience, two creative perspectives, and a shared love for beauty to every appointment. From bridal mornings and milestone celebrations to editorial shoots and fashion events, we approach each look with care, creativity, and attention to detail.
Founder and Lead Makeup Artist, Andrea Salomon
Hi, I’m Andrea Salomón, a New York–based makeup artist and hairstylist with more than 11 years of experience. I began working alongside my mother when I was just 16, learning not only the techniques behind great artistry, but also how important it is to make every client feel comfortable, heard, and confident.
Today, I specialize in weddings, quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, editorial work, and special events. My signature style is soft, polished, and timeless, with a luxury touch that looks beautiful both in person and on camera. I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients from many different backgrounds, including professionals and public figures, and I love tailoring every look to the person sitting in my chair.
I’m always learning, experimenting, and finding new ways to grow creatively. Whether I’m traveling to a wedding or working behind the scenes at a fashion event, my goal remains the same: to bring your vision to life while making you feel like the best version of yourself.

Hi, I’m Brenda Rodriguez, a professional makeup artist and hairstylist with more than 30 years of experience in the beauty industry. My journey began at just 13 years old, when I started selling cosmetics and discovered a passion that would eventually become my life’s work.
I grew up in the small town of Quitupan, Jalisco, Mexico, with humble beginnings and big dreams. Through years of training, dedication, and hands-on experience, I continued refining my craft and building a career centered around creativity, beauty, and connection.
Today, I’m proudly based in New Rochelle, New York, where I continue helping clients feel beautiful for some of their most meaningful moments. Working alongside my daughter, Andrea, is especially rewarding. Together, we combine experience, modern artistry, and a genuine love for what we do to create the perfect glam team.

Yes! Bridal services are designed around your personal vision and may include both makeup and hairstyling. Each look is created to feel polished, comfortable, long-lasting, and beautiful both in person and on camera.

Yes. Bridal trials allow you to preview and refine your desired makeup and hairstyle before the wedding day. This gives us time to discuss your preferences, test the complete look, and make any necessary adjustments.

Yes. Makeup and hairstyling can be customized for quinceañeras and Sweet 16s, whether you prefer something natural and age-appropriate or more glamorous. Hairstyling options may include curls, updos, and styles incorporating a tiara or other accessories.

Lash options vary by service, and are not automatically included. Certain looks include natural or mink-style lashes, while lashes may be optional or available as an add-on for other services. Please review your selected service or contact us before booking to confirm what is included.

Yes! Makeupologyy offers on-location makeup and hairstyling for weddings, group bookings, special events, and destination occasions. Travel pricing varies based on the location, number of clients, and number of artists needed.

Of course! Andrea and Brenda work together as the Makeupologyy team, and additional artists may be arranged when necessary. Please inquire as early as possible with your date, location, number of clients, and requested services.

Please arrive with a clean, moisturized face and clean, fully dried hair unless instructed otherwise. Bring any inspiration photos, hair accessories, veils, tiaras, or extensions you would like incorporated into your look.

Yes. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is currently required to reserve your appointment and is applied toward the cost of your service. Your appointment is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of booking. Please contact Makeupologyy as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations will result in the loss of your deposit.

Booking as early as possible is recommended, especially for weddings, quinceañeras, Sweet 16s, proms, weekends, and group services. Popular dates may fill several months in advance.
